Ms McGowan, who called for the announcement of the funding round in Parliament last week, said the projects will provide great social and economic benefits for the community.

“Supporting local philanthropy and women’s leadership is vital for regional communities, and tourist attractions are a key part of thriving rural economies,” Ms McGowan said.

“Thank you to the Into Our Hands Community Foundation, Parklands Albury Wodonga and Australian Women in Agriculture for their great work, and their effort putting the applications together.”
