Physical borders like those created by the Murray River are easily crossed, but the invisible borders created by governments can be difficult to negotiate

- In responding to the Bill to abolish the Albury Wodonga Development Corporation, called on the Government to replicate the kind of vision and forethought on current cross border issues that had made the Corporation such a success
