Federal Inquiry into Regional Development and Decentralisation
The Federal Government’s Inquiry into Regional Development and Decentralisation is now open for submissions. The closing date is 15 September 2017 and I’m encouraging you to make a submission.
This important inquiry will investigate and report on best practice approaches to regional development, examine Commonwealth decentralisation, and look at strategies to attract business to the regions.
Share your thoughts and ideas
This is a unique opportunity in Indi to share best practice and a broad range of expertise. Submissions will help form national policy that will deliver greater growth and prosperity across the country.
Everybody can have their say. The following questions may help as starting points for your submission:
- What are you as an individual or organisation doing well?
- What works in your community?
- What does there need to be more of?
- What roles do you see for State and Federal Governments?
