  • New Energy Fund – Victorian Government, community energy projects up to $100,000 for business case, up to $1 million for project. Closes 16 March. Information here
  • Small Grants for Rural Communities – Closes 24 March. Grants up to $5000 are available. Priority is given to communities of 10,000 or under. Information her

  • REAPing Rewards – targets enhanced education outcomes in rural and remote communities. Closes 24 March. Information here

  • Community Group Futures – Round 2 Victorian Bushfire Appeal Fund funded projects for not–for-profit organisations working with 2009 bushfire affected communities. Closes 15 April. Information here

  • Clean Energy Finance Corporation Local Government Finance Program - Financing options for local councils to fund clean energy initiatives. Information here

  • Catalyst – Australian Arts and Culture Fund (Submissions ongoing, assessed quarterly) - will fund $12 million in projects each year to arts organisations. Projects that increase participation of regional Australians in the arts will be prioritised. To see guidelines and eligibility criteria, visit the Ministry for the Arts website.

  • Volunteer grants - grants between $1000-$5000 to assist volunteer organisations. Applications close 20 December 2016.

  • Local Sporting ChampionsGrants to help young people pursue their sporting dreams, assisting with uniforms, travel and other costs.

  • Saluting Their Service Commemorative Grants Program - preserving Australia’s wartime heritage

  • Veterans and Community Grants - funds for projects improving health and quality of life for veterans
