Building Better Regions Fund
Grants are available through two funding streams; Infrastructure Projects and Community Investments.

Stronger Communities Program
The Stronger Communities Programme (SCP) provides grants of between $2,500 and $20,000 to community organisations and local governments for capital projects.These grants are organised through local government

Grants to help young people pursue their sporting dreams, assisting with uniforms, travel and other costs.

Funds for projects improving health and quality of life for veterans
- 2018 Science and Innovation Awards
For Young People in Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry. Grants of up to $22,000 to fund projects on an innovative or emerging scientific issue that will benefit Australia’s primary industries.
Grant applications close 13 October
New Energy Fund
Victorian Government, community energy projects up to $100,000 for business case, up to $1 million for project. Closes 16 March. Information here
Third grant round is expected to open late 2017
Whites Rural Community Grants
Grants of up to $4000 for children from the country to do something great in their local community
Country Education Foundation
Country Education Foundation (CEF) supports youth through financial grants for education and employment expenses. Grants contribute towards apprenticeships, traineeships, cadetships, diplomas, certificate level studies, university qualifications or employment.
North East CMA's Landholder and Community Grants
The North East CMA's Landholder and Community Grants program offers community groups, individual landholders and land managers the opportunity to apply for funding for projects that will help manage and improve waterways, fish habitat, wetlands and areas of native vegetation in the North East region.
Applications close 11 October
Border Trust Grants Program
Invites submissions from not-for-profit, community organisations seeking to deliver community based projects within the region.2018 Community Grant Round will open 1st February for projects commencing 1st June. The website will be updated by December.
Small Grants for Rural Communities
Grants up to $5000 are available. Priority is given to communities of 10,000 or under. Information her
