Toolangi and Kinglake community visit
I'm visiting Toolangi and Kinglake on the afternoon of April 24 to meet with various community groups in the area.
First I'm touring the Toolangi Forest before having lunch with eco-tourism operators and forest environmentalists at the Toolangi Community Centre. Community members are welcome to attend, so please take the opportunity to come and say hello if you have the time.
From 3.30-4.30pm I'll be at the Kinglake Primary School, meeting with students and staff, and from 4.30pm until 5.30pm, I'll be visiting the Kinglake Men's Shed. Members have happily thrown open the doors, so come along and meet me and also take a look at the shed and what goes on at the facility.
From 5.30pm, I'll be meeting with Kinglake Ranges community groups, and the following morning, I am a guest at the Dawn Service at St Peter's Church.
Please contact my office if you'd like to come along to these public events and say hi. I'd love to hear about how your group engages in the local community and the benefits for everyone involved.
