Young local women in STEM share their stories with Minister

Thanks to local action, young women working and studying in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) fields were able to share their stories directly with Minister for Vocational Education and Skills the Hon Karen Andrews on Tuesday 2 May.

Indi looks to Commonwealth after disappointing State rail announcement

Cathy will hold the Victorian Premier the Hon Daniel Andrews to his commitment to allocate funding to new rolling stock once the Federal Government commits funding to upgrade the rail line in the Budget on Tuesday 9 May.

Robotics and 3D printers part of technology project for Wodonga students with $50,000 grant

Congratulations to the Wodonga Federation of Government Schools for the exciting digital learning project which has won a $50,000 Digital Literacy Grant. The project will enhance the students’ confidence with technology, contributing to a bright future for them in North East Victoria.

Murray Goulburn disappointing, now time to look for a way forward.

Following the Murray Goulburn announcement to close the Kiewa plant, Cathy will work with State and local governments and the community on a way forward.

Referendum to recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders in constitution: Council seeks views

The Referendum Council was appointed to advise on the next steps to a referendum to recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the Australian Constitution. Submissions from the public close 8 May 2017.
